Amy Watkins is a dynamic therapist and a wounded warrior—someone who’s walked through the fire and now helps others find their way out.

Meet Amy

LPC, CET3

Her message is simple but powerful: healing is possible—and your life can be whole, courageous, and deeply meaningful.

Come as you are. You’ll find Amy down-to-earth, dressed casually, and ready to dig in. Sessions aren’t stuffy. You might sit on the floor, move around the room, or grab a marker and start mapping your story on the wall. This isn’t talk therapy in a stiff chair—it’s immersive, embodied, and real.

Amy brings her full humanity into the work. She’s not just a clinician—she’s a fellow traveler. Her approach blends deep clinical training with creativity, intuition, and a strong spiritual foundation. Not religion—but the kind of grounded spirituality that honors the body, the story, and the soul.

What the Letters Mean (and Why They Matter)

Amy Watkins, LPC, CET3
Yep, there’s a pile of letters after my name—here’s what they actually mean:

LPC = Licensed Professional Counselor
That means I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, passed a national clinical exam, and completed 3,000 hours of supervised experience to earn the “L.” It’s not just a piece of paper—it’s a license built on grit, training, and time in the field.

CET3 = Certified Experiential Therapist, Level 3
This one’s a big deal in the experiential world. It requires a Master’s degree, 500 hours of specialized training in experiential methods, plus 50 hours of supervision and consultation. That’s a whole lot of showing up, digging deep, and doing the work—so I can help you do yours.

The state only requires 20 hours of continuing education per year. I’ve done hundreds.

Why? Because real healing requires more than a textbook.
Because staying sharp matters. Because you deserve someone who doesn’t just clock in, but keeps evolving. Experience is everything. And I’m not here to just meet the minimum—I’m here to walk with you toward real, lasting change.
